ALICE AUSTEN HOUSE  Located at 2 Hylan Blvd. in Rosebank, this landmark, build in the late 1660’s, was the family home of Alice Austen (1866-1952), one of the country’s prominent female photographers.  Open to the public to view Alice Austen’s work and enjoy the spectacular view of the Narrows.View Alice Austen House





 Snug Harbor Cultural Center, located at 1000 Richmond Terrace in Livingston, was home for retired seamen (1831) until 1977.  Some fine Greek Revival architecture are part of this 83 acre art complex.  View Beautiful Snug Harbor in Staten Island.
